11 Things I Wish I Knew When First Starting A Blog | www.4hourbodygirl.com

I am an experienced blogger and by following these simple steps you’ll hopefully get a good head-start in the world of blogging. Oh yes! Blogging is a good way to share your views, make new friends and even make money blogging doing what you love.

  1. Choose a niche

One of the secret for a successful blogging is choosing a niche of your interest or abilities. You should choose a niche depending on your ability. Also the number of target audiences is essential, but you should understand that your first priority lies in your interest, then the volume of audience. To start a niche blog around a subject you’re passionate about has a very good advantage – you won’t get frustrated and quit. When you’re genuinely-interested in your chosen topic, you will see that you can easily come up with new and interesting content ideas.

  1. Choose a platform

When you want to start a blog you need to ask yourself whether you want to use blogger or WordPress. These are two most used blogging platform on the internet today. Blogger is a blogging platform owned by Google, and is free, reliable and has enough space for you to publish your content. If you build a blog on blogger, remember it’s not owned by you, google runs the service and can shut it down any time without your consent. On the other hand, WordPress is also a free open source software. You will host you your site and you can decide how long you want to run it. You own your site- the data as well as the information you share on your blog without any fear of being shut down. There are also more beautiful themes and plugins on WordPress than Blogger or any other platform out there.

  1. Get a domain name

Once you have decided on the platform to start your blog, the next step is choosing a domain name. Bluehost or Godaddy are the best place to get a domain name at a very good rate. A domain name is the name your blog will be known as – that is your brand. It is important to do thorough research before you chose a domain name, and is also good to choose a name related to your niche. It is easy to register for your domain name just go now to Bluehost or Godaddy.

  1. Get a hosting company

Again, you need a place to put your blog – hosting. Bluehost is a great host to start your blog, there prices are moderate. You will install your WordPress through Bluehost. If you sign up through my link here, you’ll get a discount and I’ll get a small  commission. Win/Win! I did a lot of research and Bluehost is my #1 pick and who I host with, Hostgator is my #2 choice and GoDaddy would be my #3 choice.

  1. Chose a theme

There are beautiful free and premium WordPress themes you can use for your blog. A theme gives you the beauty and the feel you desire for your blog. Once you purchase a good theme like Genesis or ThemeForest, it will look awesome on your blog and blow your mind. Most WordPress theme are inexpensive and once you purchase it, you own it for life.

  1. Good Permalink Structure

Don’t promote your blog if your URLs looks like, my name.com/blog?id=1468. It’s not difficult to reset, go to your permalink options in your WordPress settings, and change it to something like myname.com/my-content. You can install some useful plugins such as, SEO Yoast, Anti-Malware Security and Brute-Force Firewall, Limit Login Attempts, W3 Total Cache, WP-PageNavi and other useful plugins. Do not install too many plugin on your blog, because it could slow it down.

  1. Set-up Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a free traffic report powered by giant tech Google. It gives free reports of your sites traffic; like where your traffic comes from. This free tool will help motivate you, because you know that people are actually visiting your blog, and you can plan your content or advertising based on the demographics that it reports as well. It’s an invaluable tool. Try it out today.

  1. Google Search Console

Google Search Console (formerly webmaster tool) is a free useful tool from Google as well. It has numerous functions, like submission of your sitemaps to be indexed. It also alerts you to malware security issues as well as keeps track of 404 errors. Although Google Search Console is an optional tool, it’s really nice.

  1. Quality Content is King

Another one of the 11 Things I Wish I Knew When First Starting A Blog is that content is so important and the way you structure it is crucial as well. Before you start your blog make sure you have at least 15 to 30 quality articles/post. It is totally wrong to announce your blog when it has just 5 to 10 posts on it. What I mean by quality content is from 400 original words or more. If you don’t want to get penalized by Google search engine and other major search engines, never copy contents from other blogs, even if you want to copy, give proper credit to the original author. Once you have that many posts, you can apply to Google Adsense or affiliate marketing, like Amazon, to make money blogging.11 Things I Wish I Knew When First Starting A Blog | www.4hourbodygirl.com

  1. Join forums

Find forums which are related to your niche and establish a presence. Add value to people’s lives by writing a thoughtful comments or advice on others threads, and make sure to not advertise your product while doing so. Make sure to include your website link on the forum signature, which could increase traffic on your site slightly.

  1. Expose your contents to social networks

Exposing your contents to your own social networks –Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Google+, Pinterest and StumbleUpon will help you to bring traffic to your blog. Also boost your post through Facebook advertising and you shouldn’t promote absolutely everything you wrote. Pick three to five of your best posts to boost, and you’ll get a good volume of audiences to your blog than promoting crap and end up pissing people off your blog.

Have you heard of Swagbucks? I just found out about it and it has me pretty excited. I wanted to figure out how to make the most money, while not taking much more time out of my (already crazy) schedule, to buy or watch things so I researched and created this Ultimate Guide To Making MAJOR Swagbucks Everyday!

I will clarify how you can gain a huge amount of Swagbucks so you can redeem them for CASH!!!! I have separated it into easy steps you can follow…

If you don’t know what the heck I’m taking about, you can watch the 1 min. video on how it works here.

Is Swagbucks Legit? Yes it is!  This is a good Swagbucks Review .

You are not going to get rich from this, but you can win extraordinary gift cards to retailers like Amazon and Target. If I do spend around 30 minutes of genuine work through the span of a week, I earn 430 Swag Bucks (SB), the site’s “cash,” which generally means a $4 Amazon gift card. That ends up being about $8/hour. Not bad. (***See below how to use Last Pass to speed up this process.)

You can sign up really quickly by using Facebook to create your account. Just one click and you’re done! If you sign up through this link, you’ll even get a $5 bonus when you earn 2,500 SBs within your first 60 days!

Passive Swagbucks: (Now this is Awesome!)

So you know all of those things that you already do? Like… search for stuff on line?

Swagbucks compensates you for shopping through their browser, so, making it your default browser instead of explorer or Safari, takes 0 extra time. I just searched for Aliexpress (a site I spent about $200 on last week) and I automatically earned 20SB just for searching for it. Then when I got on there, it said I would make 1SB for every dollar I spent. I wish I would have know that last wee before I  shopped. Oh well. Live and learn right?

Going through Swagbucks before making a beeline for, say, Amazon. Like in any  sort of affiliate program, Amazon pays Swagbucks a commission. Then, Swagbucks offers a bit of that commission to you. Since you pay the same regardless, why not get something back from whatever you buy? Pretty smart of them actually. Sharing = Win/Win

Basically, you add a button to your browser, and instead of searching for something through your regular browser, search through the Swagbucks browser. Develop the habit of only accessing searches and websites through the search feature in the toolbar/extension. How much extra time does that take? NONE! This  will get you additional cash over the long haul. It doesn’t give you points each time you utilize it, however you will win up to 20 SB (Swagbucks) here and there.

If you make Swagbucks your default search engine, you’ll make around 25 to 50 SBs per day, plus the  bonuses.

Secondly, You can run movies with the sound off while you work on your other things. I’m on the computer all day anyway, I just set it up and it runs, collecting points automatically. Again, this takes no time!

It won’t add up to too much but you can make up to 150 SBs every day. If you did actually  want to watch them,  you may discover something that speaks to you. They have a wide range. I actually like the upcoming new movie previews and listen to ones about health to get inspiration for my posts. Most of the time: I simply kill the sound on my PC, open up another tab and keep the recordings going out of sight while I work.

You can likewise download the Swagbucks TV application, which plays recordings consecutive on your telephone. Once more, simply module your telephone, ensure you’re joined with Wifi and put it aside to play recordings — and acquire rewards — while you accomplish something else.

Utilizing the video tool, can actually earn you up to $90/month!

Look over at the Daily Goal Section on the left above the “To Do List.”

1. If you reach the Daily goal (which can normally be reached solely through the apps) you will get bonus SB and it will count towards your “Winning Streaks.”

2. The Second goal or “Total Goal” gives you more bonus SB, but does not have to be reached in order to count toward your “Winning Streaks.”

3. Winning Streaks:

Meet Daily Goal 7 days in a row………….. 25 SB Bonus

Meet Daily Goal 14 days in a row………… 100 SB bonus

Meet Daily Goal 21 days in a row………… 200 SB bonus

Meet Daily Goal every day in the month… 300 SB Bonus

4. Passive Earning Calculations for Goal One for a month (m):

Reaching Goal One of the Daily Goal……… 90 SB/m

Meeting Goal One every day for month….. 300 SB/m

Referral SB……………………………………… ??? SB/m

Complete passive amount………………….. 390 SB/m

5. Passive Earning Calculations for Total Goal for a month (m):

Reaching Total Goal of Daily Goal…………. ~482 SB/m

Meeting Total Goal every day for m………. 300 SB/m

Referral SB……………………………………… ???? SB/m

Complete passive amount………………….. =782 SB/m

Notes about Passive earnings:

SB from Daily Goal and Winning Streaks are paid out on the fifth consistently, referral SB’s are paid out as they’re earned.

Day by day Goal prizes go up  and after some time, the more you finish/the more SB you acquire every day.

This is my most loved approach to get Swagbucks as a set-it-and-forget-it. When you set it up, you won’t even know you’re utilizing it and it requires virtually no time — you’re basically profiting by what you’d be doing in any case, which is the most ideal approach to profit!

Be that as it may, without totally overwhelming you, here are the quick tips to boost your Swagbucks encounter so you can win more, for a little bit of work…

  • SwagButton – I mentioned this above. Just by keeping it installed earns you 1 SB a day. It also helps you earn you extra SBs too. If the site you’re on offers SBs for online shopping, the SwagButton lets you know.  It also shows videos in the corner of your screen (allowing you to multitask). Plus it lets you redeem Swag Codes right from your browser.
  • Swag Codes – You’ll find these “hidden” around the site and social media. If you use the SwagButton, you’ll get informed when there’s a new code and they expire after a few days. They’re usually around 1-5 digits. I’m pretty lazy, so I use sbcodez.com. This site collects all these codes together in one place. You could check it a few times every day.
  • LastPass –  This site does an awesome job of filling out forms automatically.  Use this to stay sane answering the same address/birthday/race questions over and over, if you plan on filling out a lot of surveys on Swagbucks (or anywhere, really). You can make big points doing this, but they take time.
  • Referral Program Once a friend signs up for Swagbucks through your link, you earn 10% of the SBs your referral earns — for life! Again, sharing = win/win. You’re friends and family get to save and make money and so do you. Send them this post (by copying the link) along with it to explain how it doesn’t take any more time too.

You can explore entire blogs and forums dedicated to earning and redemption strategies, if you really wanted to get serious about earning tons of Swagbucks, but I just wanted to talk about how to earn by changing virtually nothing about your daily routine like I do.

I hope you found this Ultimate Guide To Making MAJOR Swagbucks Everyday, useful.

Let me know if you end up joining and what your experiences with Swagbucks are like. Have you already been doing this? I would love to here how much you’ve earned and what you are spending your Swaybacks on in the comments below.
